In cases of domestic violence, we encourage you to contact the Victim Support service (Ohvriabi) as soon as possible. Victim Support specialists are trained to provide guidance and advice. You can call them regarding a domestic violence incident, suspicion, observation, or simply to seek advice.

Victim Support specialists are available in every county. They provide professional psychological crisis assistance, which is essential in cases of domestic violence.
In cases of domestic violence, it is very important to turn to Victim Support, where you will be supported by trauma specialists. Regular psychologists may not always have the necessary knowledge for these situations. Receiving the right help is crucial for resolving the situation.

Important to know!
The employer’s role is to be an important prevention, observer, and helper, as they interact daily with employees who may be victims, perpetrators, or bystanders.
What’s the role of the employer?
Reach out to your manager or a trusted colleague. If you cannot speak with your manager or a colleague, contact the HR division. Your first contact the Human Resources division, where your first contact may be the HR Business Partner, Head of HR or Head of Wellbeing.
Who can I contact at Swedbank?
We support employees who have experienced domestic violence in leaving the cycle of violence, providing skilled assistance to both the victim and the perpetrator. It is important to us that you receive support and security throughout this process.
How will Swedbank support me?
- Create an open environment where you can safely turn to a manager, HR professional, or colleague.
- Ensure confidentiality. Your data and information are protected.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide crisis psychologist support (3 sessions, more if needed) for you and/or your children.
- Offer flexibility and time so you can meet with Victim Support specialists, give testimony, or handle other necessary matters.
- Support and create a safe environment for finding appropriate solutions, but we cannot take responsibility for resolving the employee’s situation.
At Swedbank we:
Swedbank employees can receive free psychological counseling up to three times through our partners. The list of partners is available on Swedbank’s health portal. If needed, the number of sessions can be increased. Discuss this with your manager.
